Image of Matthew Goodman-Caines
Welcome New Staff!

Ed Video is pleased to welcome Matthew Goodman-Caines as our new Media Archive Intern!  Matthew is a Guelph-based multi-media artist. He works across film, sound, and textiles, combining analog and digital processes to explore themes of mental health and identity. His practice often begins with personal history and material memory, using both images and film to reflect on the stories we carry and the ways we mend. He envisions his work through an eye full of colour, saturation, and a childlike whimsy.
For 16 weeks, Matthew will be helping to sort, catalogue and assess Ed Video's signigicant archive of video artworks.

This internship opportunity is administered by the Independent Media Arts Alliance and funded through the “Digital Skills for Youth” (DS4Y) and offered by the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy.
